In Smolensk from July 27 to 29 in the Sports Palace "Jubilee" (Smolensk, Chernyakhovskogo St., Building 29) will host an open championship of Russia in freestyle wrestling among veterans. Competitions will be held in weight categories up to 55-62, 70, 78, 88 and 100-130 kg. To participate in competitions veterans from 35 years old and older are allowed in accordance with international rules.
Division "A" (35-40 years);
Division "B" (41-45 years);
Division "C" (46-50 years);
Division "D" (51-55 years);
Division "E" (56-60 years).
Veterans of the division "F" (61-65 years) and division "G" (66-70 years), without the right to speak at the World Championships among veterans, are also allowed to participate in the competitions. Federation of wrestling Smolensk region publishes the position of the championship.
